I think some of these Pam entries will be out of sequence in her life - just a thought. Tomorrow I'll be going to CHEMISTRY CAMP IN WPI THE PRIVATE UNIVERSITY WOW A PRIVATE UNIVERSITY WOWOWOW IS THAT BETTER THAN A REGULAR UNIVERSITY IT SOUNDS FANCIERR so I won't be able to do any more Pam stories for a week :(
I'll be writing about a museum today. Why a museum, you probably won't ask? Cuz they're cool.

There was something about the museum that bothered Pam. It wasn't because it was a natural history museum, not an art one like she usually went to when she had nothing better to do (children could enter for free), but because of the way the fossils and stuffed animals were set up. They looked too fake in those glass cases, and the harsh lighting from above them didn't help at all. Pam wanted to leave, not because she felt that the beady eyes of bears and itty bitty spiders were staring at her, like Alex did, but because she was bored out of her mind (all they ever did at a museum was walk and stare, walk and stare). However, she knew that she would get lost without Mr. Sanwich, her teacher, so she trudged along with her class, mumbling about Alex's perfect sandwhiches and the "fake" hair on those stuffed animals. Molly, the nosiest girl in class, overheard Pam's mumbles and thought she was talking about Mr. Sanwich, who everyone knew was bald (his toupee was very noticeable; it was bright red, while the rest of his skinny head was grey). She gasped dramatically, loud enough for everyone in the museum to hear, and cried in a whiny voice, "Mr. Sanwich, Pam just said that she thinks you're bald, even though you obviously aren't." He turned pink, dark pink, red, bright red, then a mixture of red and violet, and ordered, through clenched teeth, for Pam to stand in the front of the class. "So I can keep an eye on you," he spat out. By then, Pam had become the center of attention to the bullies, who kicked her shins and punched her arms, claiming to "teaching her a lesson" when Alex observed angrily that they had left bruises. They proceeded to yell at each other, and ended up fighting, although Alex was easily defeated and left on the ground, clutching his stomach. Mr. Sanwich reluctantly gave Pam permission to bring him to the hospital next door, since he knew that Pam had been there multiple times. The class would come in four hours, during lunch, to check on them. Such a caring teacher.
On the first floor, Alex's tummy was feeling better. Since the hospital was pretty far away (they had to pass a large park and cross a street), they decided to wander around by themselves. Alex set his watch to beep three and a half hours later, so they could run three quarters to the hospital and walk back, and Mr. Sanwich wouldn't suspect a thing. There was still nothing exciting to do in the museum, so they went to the park and talked a person into giving them ice cream for free. They walked for a bit, pointing out chubby chipmunks and yelling "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" when they tried to steal food away from pigeons. Once, they threw pebbles at the birds when they felt sorry for an extremely large chipmunk who couldn't hop because of all his fat. An elderly man, who was throwing breadcrumbs all over the place, glared at them. They apologized. He continued to glare. They apologized again, not sure if they had heard them or not. He still glared. Trying their best to look sheepish, the walked away swiftly, licking their ice cream cones and laughing quietly. When they looked back, he was glaring at them while throwing bread crumbs. He accidentally threw a bunch onto himself, and stood up immediately, knocking his container over and scaring off all the pigeons. The chipmunk tried his best to escape. "Great Australian hamburgers!" the elderly man yelled, "My best pantaloonies is covered in bread!" Pam and Alex burst out in laughter, effectively dropping their ice cream on the ground. "He said... pant ... PANTALOONIES," Pam managed out between fits. They hobbled over to a nearby bench, where they sat and clutched their stomachs until they calmed down.
After the watch started beeping, they looked at each other, shocked, as they had forgotten about their classmates and the museum. It had been so incredibly boring inside that their brains had forgotten it (they would've been glad, but at the moment, they were terrified for their reputations). They ran like they never had before, passing chubby chipmunks, mothers who told them to slow down, the elderly man (who wasn't pleased to see them), and reached the front entrance just as their class opened it. Pam made up a lame excuse for their sweaty selves and asked if they had already eaten lunch. Fortunately, they hadn't, and Mr. Sanwich led them to the cafeteria, where they saw the ice cream seller at the only cash register. This time, of course, Pam and Alex actually paid for their (expensive) food, as well as the ice cream, as they couldn't deal with the awkwardness.
"The hospital's mac and cheese is cheesier and mac-ier than this," Pam observed after they plopped onto a couch. "Let's go there next time."

This is probably a week after she met Alex.
And here's a chubby chipmunk:
